With every Texas Saddlery saddle built, there is over 35 years of experience behind it. No other saddles on the market today can say what ours do. A lifetime of innovation, learning, and collaboration all pour into our custom saddles. Why? Because the man that makes them has made more saddles than anyone in the industry, ever.

Dale Martin has built saddles his entire life. In over 35 years of building them, no man has learned more himself, or taught more people than he has. Many in the industry consider him to be the “Master”. Having taken nuances from many great saddle makers before him and adding them to his own experience as a cowboy himself, he truly is.
After selling “Martin Saddlery” over 15 years ago, he took some time for himself. He built a wonderful place with his wife Racee in Alba, Texas, took on other business ventures, but never stopped building saddles. Now, he himself is the builder behind every Texas Saddlery Saddle.

Every Texas Saddlery saddle is truly custom, with our own custom tree maker, custom hardware, right down to every detail being built by one of, if not arguably the best, saddle maker in the world. No production lines, no corners cut.
